WLC 400: Course Reflective Narrative
One of the objectives of this course is to prepare students to develop their Capstone project. In this class the student works with the class professor and an adviser for the Capstone project and the presentation. In this class. I learned how to use the resources that the library offers in its database; also I acquired the ability to do research by consulting the books and articles in the library.
I can proudly say that it was one of the most challenging class that I took, but at the same time I learned how to elaborate descriptions reports and write narratives, that will serve me in my future as a professional. My Capstone topic is “The maintenance of Spanish in Hispanic immigrants and their descendants. Thanks to all the skills that I gained in this class, I was able to successfully finish my Capstone Project and present it to the public. Of course without the help of my professor Dr. Christine Fernandez and my advisor Dr. Rebecca Pozzi, I would not have successfully completed my project ; for them my gratitude and for taking this class I feel satisfied with what I've learned.
